Ruth

When I was a little girl my family moved and we temporary lived with a woman and her family, we called her Aunt Ruth. She was a crotchety old bitty. But Aunt Ruth was also magical. Come Sunday, when she dressed for church, she asked one of us kids to fasten her necklace. It was always the last item of her attire before grabbing her handbag. Somehow, right after that necklace was fastened Aunt Ruth glowed. She addressed us as sweetly and moved with a lightness not seen during the week. I made this necklace to honor the magic that happens when a woman wears jewelry that brings out her inner joy. Oval shaped red glass beads pair between Swarovski crystal cubes. Dangling are iridescent cubed beads, the magic of this necklace, its luminosity that affirms your true spirit.
